Dragon Capital maintains a comprehensive risk management framework designed to safeguard the interests of its clients, stakeholders and investors. This framework provides independent oversight, promotes sound decision-making, and ensures adherence to regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities across the Group.

Risk governance is supported by dedicated committees and functions that monitor key strategic, financial, operational and compliance risks. These bodies meet regularly to review emerging risks, evaluate controls, and ensure that policies and processes remain effective and aligned with industry best practices.

An independent Risk Management Department, led by the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), is responsible for identifying, measuring and monitoring investment and operational risks across all portfolios. This includes ongoing performance reviews, risk analysis and the use of industry-standard tools and models to assess market, liquidity and portfolio exposures. Regular stress testing further supports the Group’s ability to respond to changing market conditions.

The Group employs both internal and external audit functions to provide assurance over its control environment. External auditors conduct annual audits of financial statements, while internal audit activities focus on evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and risk processes.

Through this integrated approach, Dragon Capital ensures that risk management is embedded throughout the organisation and forms a core part of our commitment to responsible, transparent and resilient operations.
