About
Geopolitics is once again testing the resilience of export-led economies. Vietnam is no exception, but the underlying story remains intact.
As Middle East tensions feed into energy prices and supply chain risk, the immediate question is not whether Vietnam is exposed, but how it adapts. The country’s policy framework has consistently prioritised macro stability alongside openness, a balance that has underpinned three decades of sustained growth. Today, that same discipline is being applied to a more complex external environment.
For institutional investors, the more relevant lens is structural. Vietnam remains deeply embedded in global manufacturing, supported by diversified trade relationships and a pragmatic approach to diplomacy. External volatility may shape the cycle, but it does not alter the trajectory. We will discuss these dynamics in more detail in our upcoming session.
