Associate / Manager, Partnership Development

About the job

• Handle all sales activities across assigned channels.

• Monitor developments within assigned business channels and report to the Sales Director.

• Provide effective support to assigned channels through regular market updates, organization of investment seminars, relationship manager (RM) training, and sales initiatives.

• Update investors on investment status and other relevant information.

• Support the Sales Director in acquiring new distributors, strengthening the sales capacity of assigned channels, and maintaining distributor relationships.

• Develop sales plans for assigned channels and submit them to the Sales Director for review.

• Act as the key contact for clients within assigned channels, handling queries and coordinating with Customer Service when needed.

• Monitor marketing activities to ensure alignment with assigned channels.

• Conduct market surveys to identify potential new product opportunities within assigned channels.

Qualifications

1. Professional Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a Managerial role within the Banking, Insurance, or Securities sectors (Bancassurance, Wealth Management, or Partnership Development).
  • Proven track record of managing distribution channels and achieving high-volume sales targets.

2. Core Competencies

  • Advanced Presentation Skills: Ability to confidently lead investment seminars, conduct professional training sessions for RMs, and simplify complex financial data for diverse audiences.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills: Expertise in negotiating commercial terms, commission structures, and partnership agreements with institutional distributors.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable sales strategies.
  • Relationship Management: Highly skilled in building and “influencing without authority” to motivate partners who are not direct reports.

3. Knowledge & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of investment products (Mutual Funds, Bonds, etc.) and the regulatory environment of the Vietnamese financial market.
