A workshop was organized by The Commercial Service of the U.S. Consulate General in HCMC.

The U.S. Commercial Service at the U.S. Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, with the generous support of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Trilliant Holdings Inc, and Dragon Capital, hosted a workshop at Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) to discuss new ways to generate and distribute energy and smart technologies to power cities.

Among those attending the workshop were officials from the People’s Committee, key city government departments, and key urban infrastructure authorities. The program featured a presentation of the results of a pilot smart grid project that U.S. company Trilliant and EVN jointly sponsored at SHTP. It also featured panels by companies presenting on clean energy and smart cities technologies and solutions. Panels covered a range of subjects such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, and case studies of smart city solutions that have been applied in Singapore by U.S. companies. Dragon Capital was proud to be a part of this event.
