Accountant
  • Position: Accountant
  • No. of vacancy: 1
  • Work location: Dragon Capital Rep Office, 1501 Me Linh Point, 2 Ngo Duc Ke, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
  • Main job purpose: Daily finance’s jobs and management reports

  • Key responsibilities:

  • + Prepare journals (cash, banks, investments)
    + Prepare cash flows (weekly)
    + Cashier jobs
    + Back up trading activities
    + Regulate bank/cash position with bank statements
    + Reconcile account payables and receivables
    + Preparing management reports (Monthly)
    + Undertake audit schedules
    + Other tasks required from the superior

  • Skills and qualification required:

  • + University degree or above, major in Finance or Accounting
    + Good at English (listening, speaking and writing)
    + Teamwork spirit and organizational skill
    + Ability to work long hours of multi tasks and under pressure

  • Experience required:

  • + > 3 years working experiences in foreign companies
    + Good knowledge of Sun system will be advantageous

Fund Accountant
  • Position: Fund Accountant
  • No. of vacancy: 1
  • Work location: Dragon Capital Rep Office, 1501 Me Linh Point, 2 Ngo Duc Ke, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City

  • Key responsibilities:

  • + Prepare timely and accurate Net Assets Values, yields, distributions, and other fund accounting output for internal users and investorss
    + Record accurately, and in accordance with IFRS and the Department policies and procedures, such accounting records as cash, securities positions, corporate actions related, expenses payment, and journal entries
    + Reconcile various accounts vs. custodian bank and fund administration reports, and promptly researching and correcting any variances
    + Identify exceptions and problems affecting accounting records and prices, communicate same to FA team, management, and assist in their resolution
    + Prepare audit schedules, yearly Financial Statement and Annual Report of funds, PFIC statement to tax authority, or other reports
    + Co-operate with internal and external auditors and regulatory authorities (SSC, HOSE, etc), and undertake in reconciling and distributing reports to marketing, fund administration and portfolio managers
    + Research, as needed, certain securities in Fund portfolios for the purpose of ensuring proper accounting treatment (such as the nature of distributions, original issue discounts, and international valuations) and compliance with IFRS, tax, contracts, and fund’s restrictions and limitations
    + Ensure that proper documentation/ filing are kept for all transactions relating to the Fund and back-up rotation for other fund accountants as business required to ensure team deadlines and/or requirements are being met
    + Participate in team project i.e booking new investment products, producing related reports and issue reports periodically to management on Fund activities and other related issues

  • Skills and qualification required:

  • + Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
    + Strong written and oral communication skills
    + Demonstrate in analytical and quantitative skills
    + Ability to identify, escalate and resolve problems
    + Organizational skills and detail-oriented
    + Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

  • Experience required:

  • + At least 3 years of experience as Fund accountant
    + ACCA or CPA is a plus

  • Type of position: 1 year contract
